The game is free and is financed by ads: optional "watch an ad for a reward" offers and full-screen ads between levels. They are delivered by Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (for users outside Europe: Google LLC, USA).
To deliver, measure and protect these ads, Google's software inside the game processes:
| Data | What for |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID of your device | Choosing ads, limiting how often you see the same ad, measuring ad performance |
| IP address (also gives an approximate location, e.g. country or city) | Delivering ads, choosing ads for your region, detecting fraud |
| Device information (model, operating system version, language, screen size, network type) | Showing ads in a format that fits your device |
| Ad interactions and app activity (which ads were shown, tapped or finished; diagnostic data) | Measuring ads, paying out ad revenue, detecting fraud and errors |
| Your consent choices | Remembering what you agreed to |
Your choice. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the game asks you on first launch, in a dialog provided by Google, whether you consent to the use of your data for personalised advertising. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change or withdraw it at any time through Privacy & data on the game's title screen. Without consent you may still see ads, but they are not based on a profile of you.
Independently of the game, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
More information from Google: Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses information from apps that use its services · Google's advertising partners.
To improve the game, it can send anonymous gameplay statistics to Unity Analytics, a service of Unity Technologies (Unity Software Inc., San Francisco, USA, and Unity Technologies ApS, Copenhagen, Denmark).
More information: Unity's Game Player and App User Privacy Policy.
If you allow notifications, the game can remind you of the Daily Challenge. These reminders are scheduled by the game on your own device. No data leaves your device for them, and you can switch them off at any time in your Android settings.
Your progress, settings and scores are stored in the game's private storage on your device. They are deleted when you uninstall the game or clear its data in your Android settings.
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the game, please contact us (section 1).
Google and Unity may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. Both rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
We ourselves do not store any personal data about you. Data processed by Google and Unity is kept according to their policies linked above.
Under the GDPR and similar laws you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, to receive it in a portable format, to object to processing, and to withdraw a consent at any time with effect for the future. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live.
Because the game has no account and we do not receive your data, we usually cannot identify you in the data held by Google or Unity. You can use the controls described in sections 3 and 4, contact these companies through the links above, or write to us (section 1) and we will help.
When the game changes, for example when a new feature processes data, this policy is updated and the effective date at the top changes. The current version is always available on this page.
